The collection includes correspondence, minutes, committee reports, exhibition organization materials and catalogues, yearbooks, newspaper clippings, biographical material on member artists, membership lists and applications, and a scrapbook relating to club sponsored activities and projects. Also included are scattered issues of the Indiana Federation Of Art Clubs BULLETIN, correspondence and schedules for traveling exhibits, and photographs and negatives of people and artworks. There is also original artwork done by Paul A. Wehr for the covers of various Indiana Artists Club exhibition catalogs.

The Indiana Artists Club was organized in 1917 by a group of professional artists including members of the Hoosier Group. The club incorporated as a non-profit group in 1947. Its purpose was to promote the artistic interests of the club and the community, and its primary activity was an annual exhibit of members' works.
